Former KORN Drummer DAVID SILVERIA Is Not Involved In New Band

June 6, 2008

Former KORN drummer David Silveria has not launched a brand new band called SATELLITE SYNDROME, according to KORN's management.

A fake SATELLITE SYNDROME MySpace page was launched earlier this week which claimed that Silveria who departed KORN in late 2006 on an "indefinite hiatus" had joined forces with "some of the top musicians in the Huntington Beach, California area" to form the new group.

In a recent chat at Korn Korner, KORN's official chat room, the band's singer Jonathan Davis stated about Silveria, "I just think he is done with music; it not his passion anymore. It sucks, but hey, he has to be happy, right?"

Davis indicated that KORN is "very happy" with current touring drummer Ray Luzier (ARMY OF ANYONE, DAVID LEE ROTH)

KORN has used a series of temporary guitarists and drummers since the original members departed, with Luzier and guitarist Shane Gibson playing on the group's most recent tours.
